His notes flow as clear as spring water, leaping with vitality upon the staff.
Graceful melodies, winding and touching, give voice to emotions of love and sorrow.
From The Four Seasons to Nisi Dominus, he created wonders, passing on the beauty of music to generations.
In his world of sound, one finds solace and comfort for the soul. Leaving behind the peak stages of his career, and the orphanage that carried countless tender emotions, he resolutely departed for Vienna — a farewell ode to the Red Priest.
I almost wish I did not know that the story’s ending is tinged with sadness.
Written for chamber orchestra.
